Michael E. Edidovich
Head of design bureau of plant No. 455 (1957-1966)
    Michael E. Edidovich was born in 1911 in Gomel in a chemist's family. Having finished school, he took a job  at an electromechanical shop. Then he came to work as a turner at the Lopse Electroplant, where he was several times promoted and finally was appointed chief engineer. At the same time he studied at Moscow Engineering Institute.
    During World War II the plant was evacuated to Kirov. Michael Edidovich was responsible of mastering the production of new kinds of products for the front. In 1942 he was decorated with the Badge of Honor for his labor activities during the war, and in 1945 -  the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, medals for "Moscow Defense" and "Devoted Work During World War of 1941-1945".
    Between 1950 and 1956 Michael Edidovich worked as chief technologist at Plant No. 455. From 1957 till 1966 he was the head of  the design bureau. Under his leadership guided RS-1U, RS-2U, RS-2US, R-8T and R-8M "air-to-air" missiles were designed and put into series production.

Juri N. Korolev
Chief designer of Kaliningrad engineering plant (1966-1973)
    Juri N. Korolev was born in 1925 in Moscow. During World War II he worked as a turner at the Moscow Ñar Factory. In 1942 he graduated from the Specialized Air Forces School in Nizhny Novgorod. In 1945 Juri Korolev entered engineering and mechanical department of Moscow Aircraft Institute.
    Having graduated from the Institute, Juri Korolev worked at the Mikoyan Experimental and Design Bureau. In 1961 he took a post of the leading designer, head of the design bureau group of Plant  No. 455. In 1965 he was appointed head of the design bureau. In 1968 he became chief designer of the Experimental and Design Bureau of Kaliningrad Engineering Plant, where he worked till 1973.
    Juri N. Korolev was decorated with Devoted Work Medal for his successful work.

Victor N. Bugaiskii
Chief designer of Kaliningrad engineering plant - Kaliningrad production and designing enterprise "Strela" - Kaliningrad production enterprise "Strela" (1973-1983)
    Victor N. Bugaiskii was born in 1912 in Ipatovo village (Stavropol krai). In 1931 he entered Moscow Aircraft Institute.
    His work record began in 1934 in the Ilyushin Design Bureau. Since 1940 he worked as deputy chief designer of the IL-2 development project at Plant No. 381 in Saint Petersburg.
    During World War II the plant was evacuated to Nizhny Tagil, where Victor Bugaiskii and other specialists continued designing an attack aircraft. Between 1942 and 1946 he worked as deputy chief designer at Plants No. 1 and No. 18 in Kuibishev, where he was a representative of the Ilyushin Design Bureau. In 1946 he became deputy chief designer of Moscow plant No. 240 (Ilyushin Design Bureau) and in 1947 he was appointed first deputy designer general. Between 1958 and 1973 Victor Bugaiskii worked as chief designer of the branch of experimental design bureau-52 in Moscow.
    In 1973 he was appointed chief designer of Kaliningrad Engineering Plant. He held the post till 1983.
    Victor N. Bugaiskii, Doctor of Science (Engineering), was decorated with the Order of Lenin (twice), Order of the Red Banner of Labor (twice), Order of the Red Star (twice), Order of the Patriotic War, the Badge of Honor and several medals.

Victor G. Galushko
Chief designer of Kaliningrad Production enterprise "Strela" (1983-1986)
    Victor G. Galushko was born 1934. In 1952 he entered Moscow Aircraft Institute. In 1958 he began working at Engineering Design Bureau "Raduga" in Dubna. He was several times promoted, and finally appointed first deputy chief designer.
    In  1983 he became chief designer of Experimental and Design Bureau "Zvezda" at the production enterprise "Strela", where he worked till 1986. Victor Galushko, Doctor of Science (Engineering) and winner of the Lenin Prize, was decorated with the Badge of Honor and the USSR medals.

Geogy I. Khohlov
Chief designer of Kaliningrad production enterprise "Strela" - Experimental and Design Bureau "Zvezda" (1986-1994)
    Georgy I. Khohlov was born in 1926. Between 1941 and 1945 he studied at Moscow Electromechanical College. In 1955 he graduated from Moscow Aircraft Institute. He began working as an acting head of the laboratory in Scientific and Production Enterprise "Molniya". Thanks to his successful work he was appointed chief designer.
    In 1986 Georgy Khohlov took the post of chief designer of Experimental and Design Bureau "Zvezda", where he worked till 1994.
    Georgy I. Khohlov was decorated with the Order of Lenin, Order of October Revolution, Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the USSR medals.

Juri D. Novikov
First deputy director general-designer general of "Zvezda-Strela" SRPC FSUE, chief designer (1995-1999)
    Juri D. Novikov was born in 1934. In 1957 he graduated from Moscow Aircraft Institute and was sent to work at Engineering Design Bureau "Raduga" in Dubna as an engineer. He took several posts there till he was finally appointed leading designer.
    In 1983 he came to work at Kaliningrad production enterprise "Strela" to the post of first deputy chief designer. Between 1995 and 1999 he was chief designer of "Zvezda-Strela" SRPC FSUE (first deputy director general-designer general of "Zvezda-Strela" SRPC FSUE).

Vladimir N. Yarmolyuk
First deputy director general - Deputy directof for R&D of Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC (since 2003)

    Vladimir N. Yarmolyuk was born on May 16, 1953 in Moscow. He got his education at Moscow Aircraft Institute. After graduation he worked at the Lavochkin Scientific and Production Association as an engineer, a foreman, a senior foreman, a design engineer, a bureau chief, a deputy head of department, a deputy manufacturing manager. Between 1987 and 1993 he took the post of deputy director general of a scientific project at VNIISMI Scientific and Production Association. Then he worked as deputy director general of "Stroyinstrumentcenter" Ltd., director of "Donang" Ltd. Between 1998 and 2000 he took the post of  defense technologies and space department deputy head at FGUP "Rosoboronexport".
    In March 2003 he was appointed First Deputy Director General - Deputy Director for R&D of Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC.
Vladimir N. Yarmolyuk is an author of over 20 scientific works: articles, reports, inventions, etc.
