Tactical Missiles Corporation has leapt up twelve positions in the SIPRI Top 100 — the world’s 100 largest arms-producing and military services companies.
The Corporation ranked 34 with total sales volume of $2.96bn, which is 26% bigger than in 2013.
SIPRI specialists note, that 2014 is the fourth consecutive year of decline in Top 100 arms sales, which totaled $401bn. This is 1.5% less than in 2013.
According to SIPRI, Russia’s arms sales have grown continually in 2014. Eleven Russian companies are now ranked in the SIPRI Top 100 compared to nine in 2013, with an increase of 48.4% in their total revenues. Russian companies’ share of the Top 100 total revenues increased to 10.2% of the Top 100 in 2014.
