The Corporation ranked 35 in SIPRI Top 100 world’s largest arms-producing and military services companies according to Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).
The Corporation’s military sales revenue totaled $2.53bn in 2016 ($2.325bn in 2015). TMS’s total profit equaled $247mn.
After five consecutive years of decline in military sales SIPRI specialists note the growth in the field.
Thirteen Russian companies, that got in Top-100, have increased their military sales volume by 3.8% and up to $26.6bn. It amounts to 7.1% of the rating’s total.
Sales volume of top-100 companies equaled $374.8bn. It is 1.9% bigger than in 2015 and 38% bigger that in 2002, which was the first year for the SIPRI’s rating.
